Fantastic place for dinner. Had we not known about it it would've been very easy to just walk past & not even know it's there. Do yourself a favor & stop to check this place out. Our waiter Stephen was good fun & brought several wines out for us to try before settling on something. Apps & Dinner were creative and very tasty. The next time we are in Vero we'll be dining here again.

Good food and great service. Also nice unassuming ambience. Worth the trip. Asparagus soup was a special and had a lot of depth. Burger was nicely executed. Bouillabaisse was good but not surprisingly so. Overall very good quality food. Maybe not a top 5 ever meal but satisfying.

Absolutely outstanding. Creative. Inventive and excellent. Don't let it's inconspicuous location and almost hidden entrance put you off. Reservations are a must. A place for serious Foodies.

Wonderful atmosphere and menu. Highly recommend the chefs table as the staff is very hospitable. I hear it's only a special based on the status of the catch of the day, but the Ahi Tuna appetizer is tremendous. A great dining experience.

My first time here. The food, service and wine were absolutly outstanding!! The sweet potato coconut seafood soup and black gtouper were both to die for! My highest recomendation!

Best restaurant in Vero Beach! Found this place on Yelp and was blown away by the fabulous food creations and hospitality. The staff really made it feel like home. They were so warm and welcoming. The sashimi and snapper was amazing. I highly recommend trying Bijou next time you are in Vero Beach!

Best restaurant in Vero. Service, food, wine. A+

Loved this place. As usual, we sat in the bar. We usually prefer this to tables. Our waitress Katie was excellent! I had the scallops and risotto. My wife had tuna. Both dishes were quite good. Appetizer of mussels in a coconut based broth was really good. Plates come in full and half size, which is nice when not that hungry. Will definitely go again.

My girlfriend is a big fan of French cuisine, so while we were staying at Vero Beach, I booked us a dinner at the only place that served it in town. The menu looked great, but I wasn't sure what to expect given the price point (much lower than usual for us). I'm happy to say that it is easily one of the best meals I have had, and dollar for dollar the best. We have dined at Michelin star restaurants that didn't have the complexity and range that Bijou had. Each plate had multiple elements to it that each had its own taste and texture. For example, the escargot was served over a pastry puff with creamed spinach/artichoke dip in a burgundy reduction. Just amazing, and it kept getting better. Seared duck breast, braised short rib, calamari, and creme brûlée with chocolate mousse cake - all delicious. And for such a glorious meal, the bill was only $100! I would come back to Vero Beach just to eat here, so if you are lucky enough to be close to it take advantage.

Amazing food!! Scallops were delicious And the creme brûlée wow!!! Great selection of wine too. We also tried the duck and it did not disappoint!!

First time in Vero visiting friends. They suggested this place for dinner. Let me tell you, this place is amazing. Loved the food and service. We sat at the chefs table and had an amazing time. Friendly staff with amazing food. A place like this one in LA would be hard to afford. For a little more then 100 dollars you will have the best meal in Vero.

We checked the review on Yelp and found out this 5 stars rating restaurant in Vero. We had reservation and got our seat right away as not much people there around 6:30pm. They had a 3 or 4 courses menu, we didn't order it, we ordered 3 tapas and 1 entrée. Escargot Sauté was special design, tasted OK. Meatballs was no flavor, no taste at all. Warm Hummas Dip & Crostini tasted normal. The best dish we got was Seafood Paella, all seafoods were pretty fresh with a jumbo scallop, and the sauce was superb. I only gave 3 stars just because my husband and I didn't feel any special about the foods and the restaurant. However the quality of services was pretty good!

I took my wife here and we were blown away. First off the places was very busy(I see this as a good thing) we didn't have a reservation but the hostess immediately offered us a table outside to wait and some wine. After just a short while we realized that with the overhang and fans it was really comfortable outside and decided to eat there. Since there still was no servers to help us the hostess did it herself. She was great! We ordered small plates and wine and had an amazing time.

Vero is not what it was ten years ago. The chef here is the real deal. Inventive and thoughtful. We ordered salmon, strawberry salad, carrot soup, veggie plate, and cheesecake. Everything was slap yo momma good. The price point is excellent for the quality and the service is AMAZING. Great mixologist at the bar. Ask for Steven's section--- he made my mom and I feel at home and taken care of. I hope Bijou will be around for many years. Bravo yall!

Stopped in tonight for a birthday dinner with my wife. She had the fish, I had the pork ribeye. Both were fantastic! Staff was accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu. We had a few cocktails, an app, 2 entrees and a dessert and were out for nder 100 bucks. Do yourself a favor and stop in! I'm glad we did!

We went to Bijou for the first time thinking it was French cuisine but was surprised to find it is not french anymore .The food and service were great. We really had a great time! We did not get the decor but oh well , to bad it's not french. Still a very nice place to drop in an have dinner.

What a meal! We sat at the open kitchen which is fantastic for those interested in chatting with Chef Chuck (super friendly and informative), but if you're dining here for a fancy atmosphere then you'd probably prefer the regular dining room. We opted for the tasting menu, and thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers (fried green tomato, tuna wasabi wonton) and were absolutely blown away by the coconut cilantro pumpkin soup with duck and green apple (my boyfriend had the salad and had quite a bit of food envy because I only gave him one spoonful). They had me already at duck, but the combination was just phenomenal. For our mains, we had the bass with beet risotto (pretty tasty), and the chicken. The chicken was the low point of the meal--it was certainly passable but didn't compare to the outstanding courses we had enjoyed prior. For dessert, we had a PB chocolate cake with strawberry compote and banana mousse, and the carrot cake bread pudding. Both were amazing and we were thoroughly stuffed after these 4 courses and the generous wine pouring. I'm still not quite sure how we ended up getting charged so little for the wine but it appears to have been below bottle price, so that was pretty cool. I did not expect a meal of that quality for the price we paid (final check was below $100 for a total of 8 courses and a bottle of wine). For those interested, the tasting menu is 3 courses, app, salad/soup, and main, and runs $25-$30 depending on your choices. I can't speak to service in the main dining room but our water glasses were quickly refilled and Chef Chuck happily answered our myriad questions about the menu, his experience, and food in Vero. Tasting menu changes daily and the menu changes approximately monthly, so we'll have to come back soon!

A uniquely talented chief in a friendly and relaxed setting. Each dish was prepared to perfection but the daily specials really demonstrated exceptional skill. If you appreciate food that is out of the ordinary then come to Bijou.

Nice upscale restaurant in an upscale area. This "french" restaurant has a wide variety to choose from and while it was delicious the portions are smaller and the prices are high. Huge wine list if that is you thing. Worth checking out for a fancier dinner.

Great dinner. My husband had the duck and I had the scallops. Both dishes excellent. Steak tartar app was a little bland but beautifully presented. Good wine list with some reasonably priced selections.

The best food I have ever had. My husband took me to me to Vero for my birthday. We had been before and eaten another great place . We were disappointed they were closed so we found Bijou , and we quickly forgot all about the disappointment. The service was wonderful and quick! We ordered the mac n cheese app it was great. They had a special fish dinner that come with fried green tomatoe crab stack and white bean mixture. The best fish dinner ever!! My husband ordered the braised short rib and loved it. Then came a dessert suggestion the chefs whim dark chocolate sea salt caramel tart.....AMAZING!!! Bijou is a must!

A group of colleagues and I went to Bijou last Friday night. Our waiter was so efficient and accommodating. He kept our table going with bread, beverages, and food with such quiet stealth! He suggested wine pairings and spent time giving us information. The food was beyond delicious...it wasn't just a meal; the flavors created a taste experience. I couldn't hide my happy dance. I had the pork tenderloin, and it was perfection. The chocolate fudge cake was so rich and lovely. The prices are reasonable. Make a reservation and give it a try!

Open for 4 months now and it's a Small restaurant make sure you make reservations great food, great service. Had the strip steak a frites. Save room for dessert. Whatever it was tasted just like an almond joy ;-)

I have to admit, we were a bit skeptical at first based on some mixed reviews, however, Bijou did not disappoint - in fact, it was awesome in every way. The food was outstanding (we had the seared tuna special, escargot, scallops and salmon) and the service was fantastic. Steven went above and beyond to make us feel like special guests. It's great to have a new place in Vero as we love to try new restaurants when we come to visit. This one is a keeper!

Love this addition to Vero. It is quaint, friendly, and consistent in pleasing with fabulous food and superior service. I always sit at the "bar" which overlooks the kitchen and gives you full viewing of your food being prepared and you can talk with the chefs. I highly recommend the escargot, and whatever you do, save room for dessert :) The menu does change frequently and I would suggest reservations especially for large parties. The wine menu is killer, and the staff is thoroughly knowledgeable and experienced.

Excellent food! Friendly staff! (Ask for Steve he will take such good care of you). This place is tiny but the food is amazing! We had the asparagus soup, bibb salad, salmon, and the flounder over risotto! OMG! What a tucked away jewel!

We fell in love with Bijou on our first visit. We were seated at at the kitchen bar and enjoyed the evening talking with the chef and sous chef. In fact, we loved it so much, we made a standing reservation each week for the season!! Off tonight for our second visit, and we look forward to taking friends with us each week to share our new favorite place!
